The jubilee bells rang out with radiant joy at the Generalate of the Daughters of the Cross on the bright morning of October 27th, 2025, marking a momentous and grace-filled occasion—the Silver Jubilee of Sr. Tarcilla Kujur, FC.
A jubilee is a sacred time to remember, rejoice, rejuvenate, and renew one’s lifelong commitment—an essential cornerstone of our religious vocation. This blessed milestone was commemorated with a solemn and beautifully prepared liturgical celebration. Sr. Tarcilla chose as her theme, “My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Cor 12:9), a profound testimony to her 25-year journey of faith, perseverance, and hope as a Daughter of the Cross.
Before the Eucharistic Celebration, Sr. Rose Joseph offered an inspiring introduction, guiding us through Sr. Tarcilla’s formative encounters with the Daughters of the Cross and the spiritual path that ultimately led her to embrace her religious calling. The liturgy, meticulously prepared by Sr. Meera, featured multilingual hymns that expressed deep gratitude to God and invoked His continued blessings upon Sr. Tarcilla as she moves forward in her vocation—serving the Congregation and the Church with unwavering love, compassion, and dedication.
In her heartfelt vote of thanks, Sr. Tarcilla expressed sincere appreciation to all who have accompanied and supported her in her mission at the service of God and His people. Following the Eucharistic Celebration, the community gathered joyfully for a festive meal, once again offering thanks to God for the precious gift of fellowship and shared mission.
