Recognizing that education alone is not enough to break the cycle of poverty, the Sisters provide practical, job-oriented training that equips individuals with the tools they need to become self-sufficient and confident members of society.

The Daughters of the Cross, in addition to their 5 nursing programs and midwifery schools2 Paramedical Training Institutes that offer specialized training in essential areas of modern healthcare. Students receive hands-on training in real-world settings, preparing them to work in diagnostics, emergency response, and patient care.

The congregation offers a variety of vocational courses designed to equip students with marketable skills. These courses include pharmacy, physiotherapy, lab technology, operation theatre training, tailoring, and beautician services. Each course aims not only to teach technical skills but also to instill confidence, discipline, and ethical work practices in every learner.

These initiatives are particularly advantageous for widows, school dropouts, and economically disadvantaged youth, many of whom have restricted access to conventional education and job opportunities. The Sisters equip them with professional skills, fostering dignity, income, and long-term stability.
