Justice, Dignity and Hope
In response to the evolving health needs of society, the church is actively addressing mental health issues, running rehabilitation programs for individuals struggling with addiction, and providing care and counseling for those living with HIV/AIDS. These initiatives serve as beacons of healing, dignity, and hope, promoting the overall well-being of each individual.
They operate shelters, counseling centers, and community development programs that offer safe spaces and practical support to individuals affected by poverty, abuse, and neglect. Advocacy is central to their mission; they tirelessly campaign for the rights of women, children, and marginalized communities, raising awareness and promoting structural change.
The Sisters assist individuals in reclaiming their dignity and building sustainable lifestyles through education, skills training, and leadership development. Their programs tackle important societal issues such as domestic abuse, human trafficking, child protection, and gender inequality. Children affected by HIV/AIDS receive special attention, which includes care, education, and emotional support.
The Sisters are dedicated to promoting economic empowerment by supporting self-help organizations and microfinance initiatives that help women attain financial independence and boost their self-esteem. They also provide assistance to individuals often overlooked by society through their committed efforts in Prison Ministry and support services for migrants and domestic workers. Their work includes offering comfort, counsel, and aid with reintegration.
The Daughters of the Cross collaborate with local governments, non-governmental organizations, and faith-based groups to expand their outreach and achieve a more sustainable and comprehensive impact. Each act of service is a step towards healing, justice, and hope, working to restore human dignity one life at a time.
